At Ladies Individual Fitness Training LLC, I aim to inspire and empower individuals to achieve their fitness goals. My goals are to promote healthy living and help you achieve your optimal level of wellness.

My mission is to help people feel better about themselves as they age.
After more than 25 years as a fitness instructor, I know the importance of maintaining our health. As we get older, our bodies don't move quite like they did, but that doesn't mean we stop exercising. My goal is to encourage each person to have their optimal level of wellness.
In my sessions, I offer exercises for strength, balance, core, and flexibility. It is important for us to maintain our strength and flexibility to promote health and prevent injuries.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1984. I worked as a nurse for eight years. When our third daughter was born, I stayed at home to raise our daughters. Five years later I decided to work with the preventive side of medicine and start teaching fitness classes. I worked in gyms for three years and gained certifications through AFAA in group fitness and personal training. In 2003,
I started my own business. From word of mouth, I started small classes in my home studio. When my husband got a new job, we moved to Texas. I thought I would stop teaching, but my clients said we could continue via Skype, so I taught from Texas online and in person (now with Zoom). When I started, my clients' ages ranged from 30-60 years, I have been fortunate to have clients stay with me for many years. When my husband retired we moved back to Tennessee. I thought I might retire too, but have an urge to keep helping a lot of people through my exercise programs.
So, I am continuing!

My fitness videos are categorized by intensity and difficulty of moves.
You will notice balance movements to promote stability and strength exercises to help with bone density. In all my sessions stretching is incorporated throughout. Whether you need a short video to increase your balance or a full body workout, there is a video for you. If you are new to exercise start with the standing or sitting video and progress. I work hard to incorporate exercises that help our everyday life. Please listen to your body as you exercise.
I strongly believe you should feel better after you exercise!

If you purchase the five video bundle, you will receive a two week program to progress in your strength and flexibility.

Improve your agility, strength, balance, core, and flexibility with one of my more advanced full body workouts. These routines vary in length from 40 minutes to 58 minutes. They are faster paced with more transitions. They are good full bady workouts.
